The content provided on IBAprobono.com is provided as a service to International Bar Association (hereinafter "IBA") Group Member law firms, IBA Member Organisations, and Open Society Institutes under the Soros Foundations network (hereinafter “Open Society Institutes”). This website is referred to hereinafter as “IBAprobono.com”.

IBAprobono.com will be a limited access site with a dynamic link up model requiring a username and a password for member access amongst its users. Nothing on IBAprobono.com constitutes legal advice, and the IBA makes no representations or warranties with regard to the accuracy, reliability or suitability of the information on IBAprobono.com. The IBA makes no representations or warranties that IBAprobono.com will operate free of errors, viruses or other harmful elements, or will operate uninterrupted.

Users of IBAprobono.com should keep and maintain information that identifies the source of any content on IBAprobono.com and should not reproduce portions or make any modifications of such material for commercial purposes or in such a way that the source of the material is identified but the material is not properly displayed.

The IBA logo used on IBAprobono.com is a trademark of the IBA. The IBA name, motto and logo should not be publicised or advertised in any way that expresses or implies endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation with any entity, product or service, without the written permission of the IBA.

The IBA will not play any role in identifying any costs and/or expenses (including but not limited to only on-site or off-site services) incurred in the process of rendering any such pro bono service between IBA Group Member firms and the IBA Member Organisations and/or the Open Society Institutes.

The IBA shall not be responsible for bearing any costs and/or expenses (including but not limited to only on-site or off-site services) incurred in the process of rendering any such pro bono service between IBA Group Member firms and the IBA Member Organisations and/or any the Open Society Institutes.

The IBA does not guarantee that any particular request for pro bono services will be taken up by an IBA Group Member Firm but will make efforts to find an appropriate match.

The IBA has provided links and pointers to websites maintained by third parties. These linked sites, apart from the official IBA website (http://www.ibanet.org) are not under the charge of the IBA and as such the IBA cannot be responsible for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site and is not responsible for the copyright compliance of any linked sites.

Site Conduct

 

IBAprobono.com contains online fora that will disseminate and display information submitted by users. The users should not post or convey any material of any kind that violates the rights of other individuals or entities, including material which is an invasion of any privacy or publicity rights or which is protected by copyright, trade mark or any other proprietary right without first obtaining permission from the owner or the concerned right holder. The users should also not post or convey any unlawful, threatening, defamatory or indecent information material of any kind.
